Free Festival to Feature Food, Fashions, and Fun of India

A free celebration of Indian music, art, and food will take place on August 20 when the Mela Indian American Fusion Community Festival returns to Lititz Springs Park.

All members of the community are invited to explore Indian cultural activities like henna tattoos, face painting, Rangoli, and more in a celebration for families and children of all ages. Indian fashions will be available for purchase.

A variety of Indian and American food will be available for purchase by cash or credit card.

The Mela Indian American Fusion Community Festival will be held on August 20 from 3 to 8 p.m. at Lititz Springs Park, 24 S. Broad St., Lititz.

Those planning to attend the festival are asked to RSVP by email to by August 18 with the number of guests who will attend.
