Lititz Weis to Offer Online Shopping, Pick-up
Click and Collect Option to Begin Sunday, August 9
If you’re weary of winding your way through market aisles and pressed for time to grocery shop, then take heart: Weis Markets announced today it will offer online shopping with in-store pick-up starting this Sunday, August 9 at its Lititz store located at 740 South Broad Street.
Customers will be able to order online and either pay through a secure PayPal system or at the store with curbside checkout. The service is free for orders of $150 or more, and $2.95 for orders under $150. The service fee is waived on first time orders.
Each order will be handpicked in store by trained personal shoppers and then stored until pick-up. Customers can use their Weis Preferred Shopper’s cards to save on their orders and earn gas rewards. They can also browse the weekly online circular and add sale items to their carts. Paper and eCoupons will also be accepted.
“Many of our customers have embraced Weis Online Shopping, which offers our customers the best of both worlds: the in-store shopping experience with online, time-saving convenience,” said Richard Gunn, Weis Markets’ Senior Vice President of Merchandising and Sales. “Our in-store personal shoppers are trained to focus on quality and customize orders.”
For parents shuttling their children between sports, lessons, and activities, online shopping may offer a perfect solution.
“This is an extremely convenient service. Customers can place their orders at any time and schedule a convenient pick-up time that suits their schedule. These orders can also be ready in four hours.”
In addition to Lititz, Weis will also begin the online shopping service this Sunday at its Dallas, Mountain Top, and Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania locations, bringing the total to 32 Weis locations offering online shopping as an option in Pennsylvania, Maryland and New York.
